Antioxidants are best known for being able to help with aging but they can also help with a variety of other issues or at least so it is believed.

How should I put this because it seems that many people are asking about this and products like Vitapulse are becoming quite popular but most individuals know little about antioxidants.

Can antioxidants help with your health or are they useless? They're certainly not useless but antioxidant supplementation might be useless.

What I am trying to say is that you more than likely don't need more antioxidants than what your body already has and what you're getting from your diet and before you make the decision of getting more antioxidants through a supplement, I'd suggest consulting a medic because in some cases they can contribute to health problems although for most individuals they are safe.

There are various clinical trials on antioxidants out there but even still, there are very few of them and the results are mixed and inconclusive. They show some mild, maybe negligible benefits for cognitive decline but only in certain individuals and when it comes to preventing or helping to treat heart disease and cancer, the benefits are not noticeable so a lot of the rumors about antioxidants are just that, rumors, because science doesn't have enough proof to sustain or back those rumors up.

I'd definitely recommend eating a healthy diet with things like berries, nuts, vegetables and so on because these are a natural source of antioxidants but buying an antioxidant supplement, I just don't see a reason to do so since the proof is not there. Companies make a lot of many from selling supplements with plenty of antioxidants but if you would pay attention you'd see that their claims are not proven, unfounded and their products are not clinically tested.

Vitapulse from Princeton Nutrients is the same yet it's pretty popular. The best thing you can do if you care for your health is to avoid factors that cause oxidants in the first place, such as smoking and bad eating habits or obesity and eat healthy foods, get your antioxidants through your diet and try to be active on a regular basis. I am by no means against the use of antioxidants but I don't see any proof for supplementation being worth it, offering great benefits.
