The Workforce1 NYC Transportation Center is pre-screening Warehouse Agents and Ramp Agents for GSI at JFK Airport.



Requirements:
• Valid NYS issued Driver’s License
• NYS DMV driving abstract no older than 30 days from date of interview
• Some relatable warehouse or ramp experience
• You must be over 18 years of age and be legally eligible to work in the United States
• All applicants will be expected to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screening
• HS Diploma / GED required



Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Cargo Agents: Responsible for performing duties related to the handling, counting and receipting for pick-up, transfer, and delivery of all cargo; assist with deliver of all cargo; assist with ramp operations when necessary; must be able to do heavy lifting.
Ramp Service Agent: Responsible for performing all aircraft ground servicing functions, which are performed between flights; loading and unloading cargo from aircraft, and performing freight breakdown. Experience in using Transporters, Communication Headsets, Deck Loaders, Belt Loaders, Ground Power Units, and Pushback Tractors is HIGHTLY Preferred.
