Our client is a New York City-based leader in electronic trading seeking a talented Oracle professional to join its elite team.
This individual will act in a hybrid role of DBA work as well as some PL/SQL development. Duties will include administering and maintaining the database, but also revolve around performance issues, capacity, replication and other matters. Additionally, this role will involve PL/SQL development and tuning. There will be additional scripting (UNIX) duties in the mix.
KEY SKILLS:
***3-6 years Oracle (Including some 10g or 11g) DBA experience
Strong SQL and PL/SQL development experience
Shell Scripting (UNIX)
Oracle DBA certification a PLUS
Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
System administration experience a Plus
