Our client located in Lake Success, NY is seeking a candidate that will have Web Design/Development skills, has the ability to work with relational database programming and has an interest in eCommerce this may be a great opportunity for you! We are seeking an eCommerce Specialist to support our Government sales marketing activities. This position will work with corporate IT to design and create websites for compliance with contracts held by the division. This individual will also be responsible for working with our sales team and government customers in identifying and collecting needs required to create custom e-commerce portals to fulfill their requirements. In addition, the Specialist will be responsible for keeping content up to date on the web sites as well as the system databases and for the daily systems administration and problem resolution related to the sites. Additionally, this position will be responsible for monitoring and responding to electronic bid opportunities with government agencies.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree and two years of relevant experience including at least one year of experience in website development using PHP (or equivalent), CSS, HTML, JavaScript and a Relational Database Management System. Candidates must have experience with graphic design as it relates to web site development, and experience utilizing IT systems administration with multi platform environments. A knowledge of Dreamweaver preferred & knowledge of using the web as a business communications/marketing tool

This position is for there federal marketing business, and requires a blend of content mgmt and web technologies (but not too heavy) and basic marketing support.
