The major differences between tig and MIG welding are that MIG welding is used to join thick and big metals while tig welding is used to join thin and small sheets of metal preferred for its unbeatable precision and smooth finish. Mig welding is cheaper than tig welding, MIG welding uses direct current while tig welding uses indirect current.
