Blood of Ancients Ancients Wargame Book by Will Nesbitt

A tabletop Ancient Wargame is called Blood of Ancients. Due to the game's d10 foundation and almost complete lack of chart references, it can be played fast and has simple rules. There are a few fundamental ideas that set it apart from other systems. The contested terrain and charge rules are intended to represent the push-and-pull of ancient wars. At that period, few people were hurt when armies clashed and charged at each other. But each charge is a test of fortitude and composure until one side falters and flees, at which point the true killing starts.
