Welsh translation, also known as Cymraeg, is a Celtic language spoken by around 870,000 people primarily in Wales, where it is recognized as an official language alongside English. It is also spoken by smaller communities in England, Scotland, and other parts of the world. The oldest surviving Welsh prose text is the Laws of Hywel Dda, dating back to the 10th century, while the earliest surviving Welsh poetry is believed to date back to the 6th century.
