Help Temitopes Family Recover from Flood Disaster

My name is Temitope, and I am reaching out for help for myself, my six children, and my grandchildren. We are nine people living together in a small three-bedroom apartment, and recently, our home was hit by severe flooding. The water damaged almost everything we own—our beds, our clothes, and many of the things my children and grandchildren need for daily life. The apartment is now overcrowded, and we don’t have enough space or beds for everyone. It’s been heartbreaking to see my children and grandchildren go without the basics, especially as they get ready for school and need new clothes and shoes.

The damage from the flood is so bad that it can’t be repaired, and I don’t have the money to replace what we’ve lost. I am currently out of work and struggling to provide even the essentials for my family. Every day feels like a challenge, and I have no one else to call or lean on for support. That’s why I am turning to this community for help.
