He has practiced refractive surgery since 1998 and has performed over 30,000 LASIK and PRK procedures, making him uniquely qualified to treat all refractive disorders. Dr. Vishteh is certified on the Nidek NAVEX, Quest, VISX Star, the LADARVision 4000, the Bausch and Lomb Technolas 217, the Wavelight Allegretto, and the Nidek EC-5000 excimer lasers. He is also certified on the Ziemer and IntraLase Femtosecond Laser. Additionally, he has extensive experience using different laser platforms.
Recently, Dr. Vishteh served as an investigator in the FDA study on the Nidek EC-5000 laser for high myopia. He has also served as an FDA investigator for several ophthalmic clinical trials. He has been in practice in southern California since 2000.
