Job Description
Duties:
System Design & Drafting: Use AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN to create and alter electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and wiring layouts.
Power Distribution: To guarantee steady power flow, supervise the installation and upkeep of transformers, HT/LT panels, switchgears, busbars, and APFC panels.
Automation & Controls: PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI, SCADA, and VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) setups are among the control panels that can be designed and troubleshooted.
Project Management: Oversee electrical installation projects for new equipment or facility expansions while making sure local safety regulations and electrical rules are followed.
Maintenance Support: Offer advanced technical assistance for complicated electrical malfunctions, with an emphasis on determining the underlying causes of motor failures, short circuits, or logical mistakes.
Energy Management: To lower operating expenses, keep an eye on plant energy use and implement Green Energy initiatives or power factor improvements.

Focus Skills:
Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of circuit analysis, electrical theory, and the National Electrical Code (NEC) or its regional equivalent.
Automation Knowledge: Real-world expertise with industrial communication protocols and PLC programming or debugging (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider).
Diagnostic Tools: Proficiency with electrical testing apparatus, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers (Megger).
Proficiency with CAD software for electrical design and documentation is a drafting skill.
Analytical Thinking: The capacity to precisely determine short-circuit safeguards, cable sizing, and load needs.
Safety Focus: Extensive understanding of high-voltage handling techniques and arc flash safety.
