RSS3 market weakens after prolonged steady movement
valid until: 25 May 2027date published: 25 May 2026The Delhi domestic market moved lower this week following several sessions of comparatively unchanged trading near recent highs. Indian RSS3 Rubber prices were assessed at Rs 245/kg on May 25, down from Rs 259/kg a week earlier after prolonged activity close to the recent peak near Rs 268/kg. Trading patterns throughout May remained concentrated near upper range levels before the latest decline widened short-term market fluctuations slightly.
Fortnight comparisons still indicate comparatively firm positioning relative to levels around Rs 262/kg seen earlier this month. Monthly movement also remained broadly stable against the Rs 256/kg level recorded during late April. Over three months, the domestic market strengthened sharply from levels near Rs 164/kg, while six-month comparisons continued showing substantially firmer conditions than late-2025 trading near Rs 145/kg. Indian RSS3 Rubber prices therefore continue maintaining elevated broader positioning despite the latest correction. Current RSS3 Rubber prices in India also remain significantly above the lower end of the recent trading range near Rs 164/kg, supporting comparatively firm procurement conditions and relatively controlled day-to-day movement through most of the quarter.
