Job Description
Duties:
3DModel CADTranslation & Structuring: Create unique digital work-holding fixtures or soft jaws for intricate setups, import, evaluate, and prepare engineering 3D CAD models, and clean surface data geometries.
Multi-Axis Toolpath Engineering: Using specialized CAM tools, create extremely effective toolpath sequences, such as high-speed roughing, pocket milling, contour profiling, threading, and multi-axis drilling cycles.
G-Code Syntax Validation & Post-Processing: Using precise post-processors, translate digital CAM techniques into machine-specific text blocks. Manually edit G-codes and M-codes to incorporate coolant controls, safe tool-change locations, and macro loops.
Virtual Kinematic Simulation: To confirm cutter movements, detect part-to-fixture interference, and prevent structural tool turret collisions, conduct thorough virtual machine envelope simulations using software tools.
Tooling Optimization & Strategy Mapping: Create formal tooling sheets by choosing and setting up specific cutting tool geometries, such as thread mills, solid carbide endmills, indexable face mills, and high-feed drills.

Focus Skills:
Advanced CAM Software Mastery: Creating intricate toolpaths within industry-standard CAM platforms with high operational fluency.
Advanced Controller Code Literacy: A thorough structural comprehension of the numerical control block languages used by major industrial controller manufacturers, including Siemens, Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, and Mitsubishi.
Blueprint Reading and GD&T Competency: Exceptional ability to decipher intricate engineering blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) boundaries, such as real position, perpendicularity, and surface profile.
Metrology & Precision Auditing Instincts: Useful comfort with high-precision checking tools, including profile projectors, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and report readouts from Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs).
